MRI at Any Position
Our state-of-the-art Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine is the first of its kind in Canada. Its unique design allows people to sit, stand, or bend so that images can be taken in the position that causes pain. Any structure in the body can be imaged. The person can sit and watch television in a quiet, open, comfortable environment while the scan is being performed. There is no fear or claustrophobia. MRI scans can be arranged within a matter of days and results can be provided in as little as 24 hours.
Please download the MRI Consent Form and The MRI Requisition Form. Your doctor is required to sign and complete these forms. Alternately, please call the Welcome Back Centre to arrange for one of our physicians to provide this service to you.
